King & King, Architects LLP has a rich history in the Upstate New York area. Founded in 1868, we are the oldest architectural firm in New York State and the fifth oldest in the country. In the Syracuse area, some of our notable buildings include Crouse College, Bird Library, and Manley Field House, all on the Syracuse University campus; Onondaga County Courthouse; Niagara Mohawk; The Galleries of Syracuse; and the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce.
Although rooted in the past, we are designing for the future. Today, we specialize in the education and healthcare fields. Our designs include high-tech labs, intensive care units, media centers, athletic facilities, and residence halls.
King and King’s four partners, Pete King, Jim King, Dave Johnson, and Kirk Narburgh, bring an average of twenty-eight years of professional experience and specialized market expertise. With our staff of sixty-seven, we take pride in providing creative design solutions for our clients.
We are very excited about our future. By early 2009, we will be returning to downtown Syracuse. Our new home, which we are in the process of renovating, will meet our expanding needs and incorporate the latest in sustainable design. We look forward to continuing our strong tradition of architectural excellence in the Upstate New York area.
