With more than 30 years of professional experience, Pete is a fifth generation leader at the firm. His personal commitment to improving the quality of life in Central New York and his passion for environmental responsibility has led to the firm's leadership in sustainable design.
Pete is chair of the Syracuse Center of Excellence Board of Directors, board member and past president of the Onondaga Community College Foundation, board member for the Golisano Children's Hospital and serves as a member of the Community General Foundation board.
He graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Architecture and is a licensed architect in New York State. Pete is also a LEED Accredited Professional. He enjoys skiing in Vermont with his children, Susie and Alex. Pete resides in Manlius with wife Kathe.
Kirk Narburgh, AIA, ASLA, LEED AP, Partner-in-Charge, Higher Education Studio

Uniquely qualified as both a registered architect and a landscape architect, Kirk brings more than 25 years of professional experience to his position. He is president-elect of the American Institute of Architects of CNY and is an adjunct professor at Syracuse University's School of Architecture.
He is actively involved with Francis House, Salvation Army and the North Area YMCA. Kirk is a recipient of the 40 Under Forty honor. A New York State-licensed architect, he is LEED-Accredited and NCARB-certified.
Kirk received his bachelor's of science in landscape architecture from Cornell University and his master of architecture from Syracuse University. He is a golfer, skier, SCUBA diver and avid traveler. He and his wife, Kim, live in Cicero, NY with their two daughters.
Jim King, AIA, LEED AP
Partner-in-Charge, K-12 Education Design Studio

Jim brings more than 30 years of professional experience to the firm, where he has specialized in the K-12 education market for most of his career. He has a strong working relationship with the NYS Education Department, and is well-versed in interpreting its regulations.
Jim serves on numerous boards and committees including: the Metro and East Branch board for the YMCA, YWCA Asset Development Committee, Eldercare Foundation, Onondaga Historical Association, Fayetteville Manlius Crewsters and Cazenovia Ski Club. He is also co-chair for the Vera House 2011 White Ribbon Campaign.
A graduate of Syracuse University with a bachelor's in architecture, he is a New York State-licensed architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects and is NCARB-certified. He enjoys downhill skiing, sailing, and classic Porsches. Jim and his wife, Kristin, reside in Manlius. He has two sons - Tom and John.
Dave Johnson, AIA, LEED AP

Dave has nearly 30 years of professional experience, specializing in health care planning and design. A licensed architect in New York State, he is NCARB-certified and LEED accredited.
Dave sits on the boards of directors for the Visiting Nurse Association of CNY; CNY Health Systems Agency; and the American Red Cross of Central New York. Dave received his associate's degree in architectural technology from SUNY-Delhi, his bachelor of professional studies, architecture from SUNY-Buffalo, and his master of architecture from SUNY-Buffalo.
Dave is a golfer, likes woodworking and is a boating enthusiast who loves the 1000 Islands. He and his wife live in Cicero and have two grown children.
