The existing hospital space was redesigned to accommodate six labor/delivery/recovery rooms, three triage rooms, a family waiting room, and medical support areas. A welcoming, home-like environment was created for the new mother, baby, and family. This project received the American Society of Interior Designers, Upstate Chapter, “2007 Design Excellence Award.”
