Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be a part of the King + King Team again! I worked here from 2008-2012 in the Healthcare Studio. I graduated from RIT with a degree in Hotel Management. Having grown up in a relatively small town in Rochester, NY I made the move to Atlanta, GA shortly after graduating. I worked as an HR Assistant for a window and door manufacturing company for about 4 years. Feeling a little homesick, I moved to Syracuse in 2007. In my time away from K2, I worked in an administrative role in the construction field, so I got to see how the buildings and spaces you all design are built! While my fiancé and I are looking to purchase our first home, we currently live in a 100-year-old firehouse. The firehouse was active from the late 1800s to the mid/late 1970s when it was decommissioned. It was then fully restored in 1998. There are three antique firetrucks currently stored in the building- they still run! The firehouse has all its original pressed tin ceilings, woodwork including oak lockers for the firefighters to keep their gear and there are even two brass poles; one from the attic to the second floor, the other from the second floor to the apparatus bay. I look forward to working with my teammates both past and new!
